Youth Activities League brings back Preston Pollard

As part of Red Ribbon Week, the Sheriff’s Youth Activities League has made arrangements to bring back professional skateboarder and motivational speaker Preston Pollard to visit with the youth in our community.  This is Preston’s third year visiting Avalon and we are all looking forward to his return.  We would like to thank Santa Catalina Island Vacation Rentals for generously sponsoring his visit and making this an annual event.  We would also like to thank CHOICES and the Avalon School Administration, not only for our year-round partnership, but for making it possible for Preston to address the students at school next week.
