This Thanksgiving weekend was beautiful (minus the Small Craft Advisory on Thanksgiving night!).
We had the pleasure of two visiting yacht clubs, Shoreline (18 boats) and Horizon. We very much appreciate the off-season visits.
The weather was interesting: This November saw the coldest high temperature since 2011, the coldest low temperature since 2000 and 2003, and the first two recorded Storm Warnings (gusts between 55 and 73 mph) since we’ve been keeping track.
Fortunately, Avalon did not see the brunt of the Storm Warnings, which ended up being mostly North and West of Catalina Island.
