Thank you to the Machado family and Bucks for Bobby for the opportunity to go to Omaha, Nebraska to showcase my volleyball abilities, along with learning about the recruiting process.
This experience helped me learn more about the sport I fell in love with and what I want to do with my future concerning college sports. I would like to take this opportunity to thank Carlos Martinez for always believing in Avalon’s student athletes and pushing them to be the best possible not only athlete, but person they can be.
Thank you Tara Hiniker for hosting Elizabeth Hiniker and I on this volleyball experience of a lifetime. Most of all I’d like to thank my mother, Olivia Mello, for being the constant pillar to my not only success, but life. All of these people, along with my community, have supported me and I am forever grateful. I am proud to be an Avalon homegrown student athlete.
