What’s that bus?
This week, Santa Catalina Island Company conducted a series of tests with the first ever, all-electric bus on Catalina Island. As part of its green initiatives, the Island Company is testing the bus for transportation use including airport routes, inland routes and city tours. The transit is under consideration as a possible replacement for its current fleet of busses. The frame and appearance of the bus will be customized, should the Island Company move forward with this new technology.
