Two Harbors annual festival, parade and fireworks are July 6

The annual Dinghy Parade is a favorite among members of the Two Harbors boating community.

Two Harbors July 4th celebration begins Friday, July 6th, at 10 a.m., with the 32nd Annual Children’s Festival at Buffalo Park, where kids of all ages can enjoy two hours of arts and crafts and other fun activities.

The 14th Annual Dinghy Parade, where participants are encouraged to decorate their dinghies in patriotic themes, departs from Isthmus Pier at 2 p.m. for a one-hour cruise through the local West End coves. Prizes will be awarded for the most creative dinghies. The annual fireworks show over Isthmus Cove gets underway at 9 pm.

Avalon guests and residents can catch the Cyclone power boat at the Green Pier and be in Two Harbors in time for the fireworks. The Cyclone departs for Two Harbors at 6 p.m. and returns to Avalon at approximately 10 p.m. Tickets for the Cyclone cruise to Two Harbors are available at any Catalina Island Company ticket booth.

The Two Harbors annual fireworks spectacular is a community-sponsored event.
