The Rotary Club of Avalon and Avalon School Interact club members recently held a community cleanup day. Seven Rotarians and nine Avalon School students participated in the event.

Interact club member participants included Curtis Leo, Beatriz Pedroza, Hannah Mahan, Alexa Dwelley, Faith Glass, Abigail Zaragoza (with little sister Samantha), Makenna Lee, Ellie Pedroza and Trina Markowitz.

The Rotary Club of Avalon and Avalon School Interact club members recently held a community cleanup day. Seven Rotarians and nine Avalon School students participated in the event.

Rotary members who participated in the cleanup included Karin Hague, Lourdes Thoricht, Cliff Hague, Jim Luttjohann, Chuck Liddell, Bruce Fertig and Nicole Hohenstein.

Avalon Rotary actively contributes to the betterment of the Island community by donating to local community charities.

Made up of a vibrant group of community leaders and business people united in their belief that working together, they can make the world a better place, the Rotary Club of Avalon meets on Wednesdays, at noon, at the Catalina Canyon Resort at 888 Country Club Dr. Visiting Rotarians are always welcome.
