The junior varsity team is led by a slew of freshmen players, eager to show off their game to the Avalon public. This group of young players has worked really hard to prepare for the season and is ready to go.

The junior varsity squad consists of the following players: Jalen Flynn, Julio Hernandez, Oscar Bastida, Adam Fultz, Ernesto Gomez, Harrison Hobbs, Noah Shambo, Miguel Bonilla, Anthony Hernandez, Victor Garcia, and Jose Silva. The manager is David Torrez Zeller.

The varsity team is also excited about starting their season as well.

Many of the varsity basketball players are also on the football team and the cross-country team so they are quickly preparing for their first games and are certainly willing and able to achieve success.

The varsity team consists of the following players: Edgar Alvarez, Isaac Rios, Danny Jimenez, Daniel Paradisi, Eduardo Silva, David Castro Jimenez, Colin Campbell, Gabe Hernandez, Alex Pedroza and Jose Cervantes.  Emmanuel Amezcua and Cristian Arteaga are the managers.

This year we have numerous home games so we want to attract the support of the entire community and thus create a real home court advantage for our local teams.

Come on up and support your local High School Basketball teams and reward yourself with Avalon’s best and cheapest form of entertainment during the winter time.
