Kerry Ellen and Thomas Solorio welcomed their first child on March 16, 2018. Malia Avalon Solorio was born in Irvine. She weighed in at 8 lbs 11 oz. Her maternal grandparents are Bobby and Kathleen Ponce of Avalon. Paternal grandparents are Catherine Solorio and the late Leno Solorio of Long Beach.
